Westat, Inc. seeks Field Interviewers for the MEPS program to gather health care costs and usage data across the United States. This part-time role involves in-person interviews, daily data transmission, and reporting to a field supervisor.

Training is mandatory in January 2027, with in-person sessions and web-based components. Travel to assignments may include overnight stays. The position runs in two data-collection periods each year with breaks between rounds.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Available for mandatory web-based and in-person trainings in January 2027 before start of in-person training.
• Willing to travel to local and occasional long-distance households for interviews.
• Able to transmit data daily when working and comply with data security requirements.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-person interviews with assigned households.

• Maintain data security and confidentiality of respondent information.
