Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers in Blakely, GA, for the MEPS study. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews, contact households, set appointments, and collect data using a Westat laptop. Training in January 2027 is mandatory, with local and occasional overnight travel possible.

The role is part-time and variable-hour, with potential overtime and benefits after eligibility, including vacation leave and a 401(k) program, depending on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidentiality agreements to protect project information.
• Be available to complete mandatory web-based and in-person trainings on specified January 2027 dates.
• Be available to travel to in-person training and to local and long-distance households as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households, set appointments, and complete interviews and required documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily and follow data security and confidentiality requirements.
