Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS program. You will conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in sampled households, travel to assignments, and transmit data daily using a Westat laptop.

The role requires mandatory training in January 2027, travel to local or distant households, and a minimum of 20 hours per week when work is available. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with two yearly data collection periods.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidential agreements.
• Available for mandatory web-based and in-person training in January 2027.
• Able to travel locally and occasionally long distance, including overnight stays.
• Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week, mainly evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households, set appointments, and collect data and signed documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily during assigned work days.
• Comply with data security and confidentiality requirements.
