Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking motivated Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews for MEPS. The role involves contacting households, scheduling and conducting interviews, and collecting signed documents while traveling as needed.

Training in January 2027 is mandatory, with two data collection periods each year. Work is part-time with flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to enter confidentiality agreements.
• Must complete mandatory web-based home study training between Jan 4 and Jan 15, 2027.
• Must travel for mandatory in-person training Jan 19–25, 2027.
• Must complete post-training online and virtual training between Jan 26–31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews.
• Contact households, set appointments and complete interviews.
• Transmit data daily and submit administrative paperwork.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality.
• Attend required trainings and travel as needed.
