Job summary

Westat is seeking Field Interviewers for the MEPS study to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults across the United States. Interviewers will contact households, schedule visits, complete interviews, and collect signed materials, transmitting data daily.

Travel to mandatory January 2027 training is required, with possible overnight trips. This part-time, year-long position runs in two data collection periods, with breaks between rounds.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older.
• Be able to complete mandatory web-based training and in-person training in January 2027.
• Be willing to travel to and attend mandatory in-person training and possible overnight travel.
• Be able to meet the physical requirements (lift 20 pounds, walk blocks, climb stairs).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews with adults in households.
• Contact households, set appointments, complete interviews, and collect signed documents.
• Transmit electronic data daily and adhere to data security requirements.
