Job summary

Westat, Inc. is seeking Field Interviewers to conduct in-person and computer-assisted interviews for the MEPS study in the United States. The role involves contacting households, setting appointments, completing interviews, and collecting signed documents with a Westat laptop.

Travel to mandatory training in January 2027 is required, with ongoing travel to local and occasional long-distance households. Part-time, yearly data collection periods run January–July and July–December, with breaks

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and able to sign confidential agreements.
• Complete mandatory web-based home study training between Jan 4–15, 2027.
• Travel to in-person training starting Jan 19, 2027 and five-and-a-half days in-person training Jan 20–25, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and computer-assisted video interviews with adult household members.
• Travel locally and occasionally long-distance; may involve overnight travel.
• Transmit electronic data daily when working; complete administrative paperwork.
