Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Crew Lead (In Field) to supervise a small team of insulation technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installations. You will provide leadership, guidance, and hands-on participation across projects.

Based in MA, you will drive workflow, maintain schedules, uphold safety standards, and communicate with customers to meet expectations. Eligible for overtime; hourly pay with incentives reflects performance and company growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mass Save Crew Lead and Lead Safe Certifications.
• 4–6 months Mass Save installation experience.
• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to construction work.
• Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of insulation technicians in the execution of insulation projects.
• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and ensure that project timelines are met.
• Provide on‑job training, guidance, and support to team members as needed.
• Report any job or employee issues to management.
• Inspect completed insulation installations to ensure quality and specifications.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate with customers to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Safely operate company‑owned vehicles and trucks in compliance with laws and policies.
