Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Instrument Person to operate and maintain survey instrumentation for pipeline and field surveying activities.

You will work closely with the Survey Party Chief to execute measurements, data collection, and documentation across multiple field tasks in a dynamic environment. The role requires at least two years of surveying experience, GPS knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years surveying experience with previous Instrument man experience.
• Knowledge of electronic data collection methods of cross-country pipeline surveying.
• Knowledge of survey instrumentation operating procedures and survey data collection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implements execution plan for survey activities and budgets, with schedules and documentation.
• Assist Party Chief to assign personnel and equipment for survey tasks.
• Orient personnel on project requirements, safety, and quality assurance.
