Job summary

TRC, Member of WSP, is seeking a Survey Instrument person to operate and maintain survey instrumentation for various pipeline and cross-country survey activities. You will assist the Survey Party Chief, implement project survey policies, and coordinate with clients and landowners to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires at least two years of surveying experience with instrumentman background, GPS knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• GPS knowledge preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum two years surveying experience with instrumentman background.
• Knowledge of electronic data collection methods.
• ACSM Survey Technician Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain survey instrumentation for survey activities.
• Assist Survey Party Chief in implementing project survey policies and procedures.
• Orient and assign tasks to survey personnel; monitor performance and ensure quality.
• Coordinate with client representatives and landowners to meet project schedules.
• Maintain daily logs and document survey data.

Skills

Two years surveying experience

Education
