Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a field service technician to perform preventive maintenance and remedial services at customer sites in the United States. You will manage dispatch documentation, inventory, and service data while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in a relevant field, have CMMS experience (Service Max), and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Associate degree in applied science, biology, chemistry, electronics, mathematics, or engineering.
Experience using Microsoft 365.
Exposure to analytical equipment and/or lab environment.
Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
Experience in a CMMS (Service Max).
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide scheduled preventative maintenance for contract customers and remedial maintenance for non-contract customers billed hourly.
Drive toward zero service recalls.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance calls at customer sites within prescribed time frames and performance standards.
Maintain documentation around dispatch, inventory and service support functions.
Upload/download required data to ensure service system integrity.
Manage company assets including vehicle, tools, test equipment, telecom equipment and inventory.
Proactively develop technical and soft skills to enhance PerkinElmer’s value to customers.
