Job summary

Kleinfelder's Ontario, CA office is seeking a Special Inspector/Materials Testing Technician to join our Southern California team. You will perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field to verify conformance to plans and specs, prepare daily reports and data sheets, and support project workloads with travel throughout California.

The position requires 2+ years of soil, asphalt, and reinforced concrete testing experience, ACI Field Tech Grade 1, ICC

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel throughout California (50% travel expected).
• Ability to work/stay out of town as needed to service project workloads.
• 2+ years of soil, asphalt, and reinforced concrete testing and inspection experience.
• Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete certification.
