Job summary

Kleinfelder's Central and Northern California offices are seeking a Special Inspector to join our growing team. You will perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications, and perform routine laboratory tests on soils and concrete.

The Special Inspector will interact daily with owner and contractor teams, prepares daily reports, and may perform various tasks to meet client project goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect routine to complex construction material work in the field.
• Prepare daily reports and data sheets.
• Perform laboratory tests on soils and concrete (e.g., compaction curves, concrete compressive strength).
• Interact daily with owner and contractor teams to verify conformance to plans and specifications.
