Job summary

Kleinfelder's Central and Northern California offices are seeking a Special Inspector to join our growing Bay Area team. You will perform inspection and testing of construction materials in the field and in the lab, verifying conformance to plans and specifications while interacting with owner and contractor teams.

Applicants should have core certifications and be willing to travel within the Bay Area. A high school diploma is required; own vehicle and a clean driving record are essential;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Bay Area of California.
• Must be able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex inspection and testing of construction materials in the field and laboratory.
• Prepare daily reports and data sheets for client projects.
• Interact daily with owner and contractor teams to verify conformance to plans and specs.
• May be called to perform additional tasks to meet project goals.
