Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks an instrument and electrical technician to support field operations, plants, and pipelines. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas/liquid facilities and stations.

Role involves on-call rotations, safety compliance, and documentation; requires strong knowledge of DOT, electrical codes, and instrumentation, with on-site work in Luther, OK.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; relevant experience preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of SCADA, PLC/DCS systems, and instrumentation.
Experience with DOT 192/193/195 testing and documentation.
Proficiency with MS Office; strong reporting skills.
Ability to read manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, control, and instrumentation equipment.
Read, interpret, and apply electrical diagrams and P&IDs.
Perform preventive maintenance and testing per DOT requirements.
Provide mentoring and oversee contractor work when needed.
Maintain accurate written/electronic reports and documentation.
