Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires reading manuals and schematics, following DOT/PSM standards, and participating in on-call rotations and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associates degree in Instrumentation preferred.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument and electrical equipment components.
Install, diagnose, and maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments, electrical distribution systems, motor control gear, and associated software.
Install, diagnose, and maintain PLCs or DCS systems and process or safety controls.
Read and interpret manuals, policy, engineering standards, drawings, and schematics including electrical, pneumatic, and P&IDs.
Test, calibrate, and document plant and compressor station control and safety devices per DOT/PSM requirements.
Participate in call out/on call requirements and safety initiatives.
