Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC technician to service commercial customer locations. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems in diverse facilities, using knowledge of air conditioning theory and pipe layouts.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners on new facility setups and retrofits. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years HVAC experience, and preferred technical training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 0–2 years of HVAC experience.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair at customer locations in accordance with Trane specifications.
• Support Trane technicians at various site locations.
• Act as the direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Use tools and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Prioritize safety and document asset usage and condition.
