Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC technician to service commercial customers across defined markets. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems, using knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent), 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with safety-first protocols and have opportunities for growth within a leading

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years HVAC experience preferred.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Represents company as direct customer contact, diagnosing and repairing equipment at customer locations.
• Uses blueprints/engineering specs and tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends and occasional overnight stays as needed.
• Upholds safety standards and maintains security of company assets.
