Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced HVAC service technician to act as the primary contact for Rental Service customers in a defined market. You will perform preventive maintenance, testing, startup, and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems at customer sites.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners, analyze building layouts, and utilize blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment. Safety and customer relationships are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, startup, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Direct customer contact to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
