Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems in commercial environments. You will collaborate with customers and teammates, applying HVAC theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to ensure reliable operation.

You will work on-site, uphold safety standards, and coordinate with a team to deliver quality service. EPA certification is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required for 12+ months.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of HVAC experience
• EPA Certification preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator)
• High School Diploma or equivalent or technical school certificate
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment per blueprints or specifications
• Utilize Microsoft Office and handheld devices to document work and access systems
• Maintain safety and handle assets responsibly
• Occasionally work overtime and weekends as required
