Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC field service technician to perform commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and startup of commercial HVAC systems at customer locations. You will apply air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts while coordinating with customers and internal teams for site readiness.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and 5+ years of HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC field experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid drivers license with clean record.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact to ensure satisfaction and diagnose/repair equipment.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and hand tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends, including overnight stays when required.
• Enforce safety standards and track company assets on site.
