Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to service and maintain commercial systems on customer sites in a defined market. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC equipment in office buildings, healthcare facilities, and industrial settings.

You will leverage knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts, working with internal and external partners on facility retrofits or new setups.

Qualifications

• Typically, 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repairs.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and manage products/equipment on assigned projects.
• Use software and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units per blueprints/engineering specs.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and track company assets' condition and use.
