Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Agreement Sales Specialist in the Kansas City area. You will drive recurring revenue by building relationships with building owners and facility managers, delivering tailored maintenance service agreements, and expanding an installed base with strategic proposals.

The role emphasizes prospecting, consultative selling, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-value service delivery.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial HVAC sales or related experience.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs and work safely around rooftops and machinery.
Experience with building systems, controls, or energy services preferred.

Responsibilities

Prospect, research, and qualify potential clients using Carrier’s installed base, referrals, internal leads, and site surveys.
Perform facility walkthroughs to assess equipment, evaluate client needs, and present tailored service agreement proposals.
Utilize Salesforce CRM to log activities, manage opportunity strategies, track backlog, and forecast accurately.
Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service agreement delivery and issue resolution.
Conduct presentations, assess customer needs, answer questions, and close new service agreements.
Develop proposals addressing customer needs to secure maintenance agreements.
