Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a facilities engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment at a Columbia, SC site. You will manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and asset care, using Corrigo CMMS and other building systems.

The role requires 4+ years in building engineering, with trades training and strong safety discipline. On-site work, potential weather exposure, and a commitment to energy-efficient operations are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment.
• Two years of trades school or apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC, plumbing or related crafts.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure safe, energy-efficient operation.
• Maintain records and use CMMS systems (e.g., Corrigo) for work orders and inspections.
• Assist with safety compliance, inspections, and asset care across facilities.
