Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an Operating/Building Engineer for our Orangeburg, SC site. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, boiler, and HVAC/controls systems to keep facilities performing at peak standards.

You will monitor BAS sequences, manage preventive maintenance, and coordinate with external contractors while ensuring safety and compliance in a 24/7 mission-critical environment. This position requires attention to detail and hands-on technical skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Electrician, Boiler Operator/Technician, or HVAC/Controls Technician in commercial buildings.
• Experience with Electrical systems, Boiler operations, HVAC/Controls.
• Knowledge of Building Automation/Controls and NEC/ASME codes.
• Experience with CMMS software and 24/7 operation environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, boiler, and HVAC/controls equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, BAS, and control equipment; calibrate and replace components.
• Monitor boiler operations, combustion efficiency, and safety systems.
