Job summary

Trane Technologies in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an on-site HVAC/Controls technician to start and commission new systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control equipment, applying knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, and refrigeration theory across commercial settings.

You will represent the company with customers, coordinate with site teams, ensure safety standards, and stay current with Trane product installation, operation, and service practices.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Controls experience 3–5 years required
• DDC controls system experience preferred
• EPA license preferred

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new systems, diagnose, and repair environmental-control systems
• Serve as the direct customer contact and service products at on-site projects
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements and forecast issues
• Keep current on Trane products regarding installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair of direct digital control systems
• Enforce safety standards and maintain accountability of assets
