Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in climate solutions, is seeking an on-site HVAC/Controls professional for customer locations in Atlanta. You will start up and commission systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control equipment, applying electronics, direct digital control, airflow, and refrigeration theory.

You will operate as the primary customer contact on projects, coordinating with the team to meet on-site requirements, uphold safety standards, and deliver reliable service across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record in the last 3 years.
• Experience with DDC controls systems preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start up and commissioning new systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control systems on-site.
• Serve as direct customer contact and service equipment, ensuring satisfaction by identifying and repairing issues at the customer’s location.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to define on-site installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues and gathering materials.
• Keep current on products for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of direct digital control systems.
• Maintain safety standards and security of company assets; record usage and conditions.
• Be flexible to overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.
