Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an on-site field technician to commission, program, and service HVAC/controls systems at customer locations. You will document verification steps, validate sequences of operations, and ensure high customer satisfaction through diagnosing and repairing equipment.

You will coordinate with team leaders and clients to understand requirements, stay up-to-date on Trane products, and uphold safety and asset control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 7+ years in HVAC/Controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with a clean record.
• DDC controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, and set up graphics; perform end-to-end testing and on-site servicing.
• Document point-to-point verification and sequence of operations validation.
• Serve as direct customer contact; diagnose and repair on-site equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements.
• Stay current on Trane products for installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Uphold safety standards and manage assets; flexibility for overtime and travel.
