Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team and support client sites with commissioning, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC and Controls systems. You will apply knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, refrigeration theory, and related techniques in diverse commercial settings.

You will serve as the primary company contact on-site, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years in HVAC/Controls typical.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Proficient with basic office software and handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new systems; diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as direct company contact on-site; ensure customer satisfaction by identifying and repairing equipment at the customer location.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements and forecast issues for on-site work.
