Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking an on-site field technician to commission, program, set up graphics, test end-to-end systems, troubleshoot and service integration projects at customer locations.

You will lead multi-vendor integration, document verification sequences, enforce standard architectures, and stay current with Trane products and third-party platforms while upholding safety and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Niagara certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, set up graphics, communications link, end-to-end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on integration projects.
• Support development and refinement of integration standards, templates, and reusable system components.
• Enforce standardized architectures, naming conventions, and integration practices; review non-standard implementations.
• Deliver systems aligned with operation sequences for long-term serviceability and maintainability.
• Lead multi-vendor integration efforts across diverse equipment platforms.
• Document verification sequences, sequence of operations validation and job close-out requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact, service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Stay current on Trane products and third-party technologies and ensure safety compliance.
