Job summary

Trane Technologies invites you to join a field-based role, working on-site at customer locations to start and commission systems, diagnose and repair environmental-control equipment with knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, and refrigeration theory.

You will be the direct contact with customers, coordinating with teams to meet on-site requirements, ensuring safety, and delivering high satisfaction on projects, with overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; typically 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office; handheld devices.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 12 months with clean record in last 3 years.
• Experience with DDC controls system preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start and commission new systems; diagnose and repair environmental-control systems.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and service equipment on on-site projects; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements.
• Stay current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, and service of DDC systems.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets; willingness to work overtime and occasional overnight stays.
