Job summary

Builders FirstSource seeks an HR Manager to execute HR strategy and oversee HR operations across two or more facilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with employment laws.

The role covers talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training, partnering with leadership to drive engagement, diversity, and organizational effectiveness. 20% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• HR certification preferred.
• Experience in coordinating multiple HR disciplines across locations.

Responsibilities

• Implement HR programs and initiatives compliant with regulations.
• Partner with facility leadership on workforce planning and succession.
• Oversee recruitment and selection for key roles; coach managers.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor HR metrics and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with affirmative action and diversity initiatives.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs; support merit processes.
• Lead HR projects such as process improvements and audits.
• Facilitate training on leadership, performance management, safety, and diversity.
• Represent the company in regulatory matters and labor negotiations where applicable.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to HR staff.
