Job summary

Shoppa’s Material Handling is seeking an HR Business Partner to empower leaders across branches and entities. The role focuses on proactive workforce planning, documenting consistently, and scaling an HRBP model for a growing multi-entity organization.

You’ll travel to branches regularly to understand the work firsthand, support hiring and retention, and partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to set priorities. This is a fulltime role based in Texas with field presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or generalist advising managers.
• Strong employee relations, investigations experience, and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR advisor to leaders across functions, branches and entities on people decisions, risk and team performance.
• Review terminations and corrective actions for consistency, documentation, compliance and risk.
• Guide employee relations matters from intake through resolution with ER and HR Operations support.
• Coach managers through difficult conversations and decisions rather than taking over.
• Lead a regular people-review cadence with leaders covering headcount, turnover, new hires, ER activity and decisions.
• Use turnover, time-to-fill, retention and other data to spot risk and drive manager action.
