Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, Safety/EHS, or a related field - preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR practices and basic safety/compliance regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with field and hourly employees at all levels.
• Ability to deliver training and communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up on documentation as needed.
• Ability to carry out assigned tasks to completion with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; HRIS experience a plus.
• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and track completion of new hire training and ongoing safety training for field and hourly employees.
• Train field operators on day-to-day job responsibilities, SOPs, and site-specific work practices.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire onboarding for field and hourly positions, including orientation and paperwork.
• Conduct hands-on, in-field training sessions covering equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Develop and maintain operator training materials, checklists, and job aids.
• Evaluate operator competency following training and coordinate refresher training as needed.
• Schedule and deliver recurring refresher and compliance training for operators.
• Partner with field supervisors to identify training gaps and tailor content by roles, shifts, and locations.
• Serve as front-line HR contact for field/hourly employees (benefits, policies, timekeeping).
• Coordinate safety meetings with the Safety/EHS team and assist with pre-employment requirements.
• Support recruiting and hiring for field/hourly roles including interviews and background checks.
• Maintain employee files and training records in line with regulations.
• Assist with employee relations and HR program initiatives for field/hourly employees.
• Support performance management and policy communication as needed.
