Job summary

Forgen is seeking a Field Human Resources Generalist to provide end-to-end HR support across multiple offices and jobsites. You will coordinate onboarding, employment eligibility, records management, and respond to routine questions while escalating complex matters to leadership.

This hybrid role requires travel to Houston, Denton, and other job sites, partnering with People Operations to implement programs and maintain local context within a North American geotechnical and civil construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of HR generalist/employee lifecycle experience.
• Experience with HRIS/HCM and MS Office (Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day HR contact for offices and jobsites; resolve routine questions and escalate when needed.
• Build relationships with project managers, superintendents, craft supervisors, and centralized People partners.
• Coordinate onboarding from offer to pre-employment, eligibility, orientation, and badging.
• Process and track employee lifecycle changes (transfers, locations, leaves, terminations, etc.).
• Coordinate background checks, drug screens, client clearances, and employment verifications.
• Support leave and accommodations intake with Benefits/Leave team; no independent approvals.
