Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation – North America in San Francisco, CA seeks a Home Appliance Service Technician. The role fixes gas and electric kitchen appliances in customers’ homes, ensuring first-time resolutions and a positive service experience.

You will travel within the designated region, diagnose issues, and communicate clearly with customers. Requirements include 3-5 years’ appliance repair experience or related trades, strong diagnostics and math skills, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with appliance repair or transferrable skills from electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trades.
• Organized with ability to complete multiple service calls daily while maintaining high customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook; solid diagnostic and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair major gas and electric appliances (ovens, cooktops, refrigerators, etc.) within an agreed region.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and fix as required.
• Communicate clearly with customers to provide a positive service experience.
• Explain appliance operation to customers to ensure correct use.
• Upsell accessories, service plans, maintenance plans, etc.; training will be provided.
• Maintain an up-to-date van stock of parts per stock lists and safeguard them.
• Use B-apps (B-tooling, B-fixing, B-informing) for paperwork and documentation.
• Complete every job with care, professionalism, and safety.
