BSH Home Appliances Corporation in Oceanside, CA seeks a Home Appliance Service Technician to diagnose and repair Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau appliances in customers' homes. You will travel within an assigned region, ensure first-time fix when possible, and deliver a positive service experience.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–5 years appliance repair experience or transferable skills from electrical/HVAC/mechanical trades.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with basic math.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to diagnose and repair major gas and electric appliances (ovens, cooktops, refrigerators, etc.) within an agreed region.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and rectify as required.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide a positive service experience.
• Advise customers on correct operation of products to enable proper use.
• Offer solutions and upsell accessories, service plans, or maintenance plans; training provided.
• Maintain an up-to-date van stock of parts per current van stock lists.
• Utilize B-apps (B-tooling, B-fixing, B-informing) for paperwork and documentation.
• Complete each job with care, professionalism, and safety.
