BSH Home Appliances Corporation – North America is hiring a Home Appliance Service Technician in Los Angeles. You will diagnose and repair major gas and electric appliances in customers’ homes, traveling within the service region.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years’ repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service. A company vehicle and tools are provided, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3-5 years’ appliance repair experience or transferable skills from electrical, HVAC, or mechanical trades.
• Organized with ability to complete multiple service calls daily while delivering high levels of customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook).
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and basic math.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-first mindset.
• Ability to explain repairs clearly to customers and operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain a company vehicle and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Aufgaben

• Travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair major gas and electric appliances (ovens, cooktops, refrigerators, etc.) to ensure first-time resolution.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and rectify as required.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide a positive service experience.
• Advise customers on correct operation of products for proper use.
• Offer solutions by suggesting accessories, service plans, and maintenance plans; training will be provided.
• Maintain van stock of parts per current lists and safeguard parts from damage.
• Utilize B-apps (B-tooling, B-fixing, B-informing) for paperwork and documentation.
• Complete every job with care, professionalism, and safety.
