Papé Group is hiring a Heavy Equipment Rental Field Technician / Mechanic in Fremont, CA. You will service material handling and construction equipment in the field, diagnosing issues and performing repairs to maximize uptime and keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of JLG and Genie and other AWP Equipment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel and gas engine repair.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• As a Rental Field Technician, work on material handling and construction equipment in the field ensuring repairs are done accurately and timely to maximize uptime.
• Travel area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform top-notch work, interact with customers, and ensure job is done right.
