Pape’ Rents in Fremont, CA seeks a Heavy Equipment Rental Field Technician / Mechanic to maintain and repair material handling equipment in the field. You will travel in a fully equipped service vehicle, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and strive to maximize uptime for customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of JLG and Genie aerial work platforms with troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel/gas engines.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to push/pull and lift up to 75 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Work on material handling and construction equipment in the field, performing accurate repairs to maximize uptime.
• Travel in a service vehicle, interact with customers, and ensure work is completed to standard.
