Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Assembler to travel nationwide and assemble heavy mining equipment, on the road up to six weeks at a time with ample overtime. You will assemble on-site, handling rope shovel and electric drive truck components and perform field maintenance and repairs as required.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on mechanical experience, welding skills (AWS D1.1) and be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Welding experience with FCAW welding test preferred.
• 5G welding experience is preferred.
