Job summary

GSK is seeking a Health Informatics Manager for field-based responsibilities across US health systems. You will translate HIT insights into practical opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support implementation decisions within governance and compliance guidelines.

The role requires strong knowledge of EHR platforms, clinical workflows, and data-informed decision making, with a focus on patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, healthcare, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 2 years in health informatics or EHR-related roles in patient-care settings.
• Experience with major EHR platforms (Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, iKnowMed).
• Customer-facing experience coordinating across teams and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support their evaluation.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and engagement.
• Coordinate customer support and field input on scalable tools and resources.
• Ensure governance, privacy, and compliance in decisions.
