Job summary

ACRT Services seeks energetic foresters for field-based roles performing identification, inspection, and evaluation of trees along utility lines. You will submit inspection results and recommendations to clients, and discuss access with line crews while coordinating with crews and customers.

Ideal candidates have a forestry-related degree, ISA Arborist certification preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field OR 4 years of related experience or ISA Arborist certification.
• ISA Arborist certification preferred.
• Strong tree identification skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
• Serve as liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
