Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking an energetic Consulting Utility Forester to perform tree and vegetation assessments along utility lines and coordinate line clearance crews. This role suits both entry level and experienced candidates with forestry or related backgrounds.

Responsibilities include field inspections, reporting to clients, and coordinating access and logistics with stakeholders. A valid driver’s license and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years utility vegetation management experience; or 5 years field experience.
• Preferred: 2 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or related field.
• Competent in Microsoft Office; GIS data collection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results with recommendations to clients.
• Plan and coordinate activities of line clearance crews.
• Discuss crew access issues with stakeholders and vendors.
• Serve as liaison between clients, crews, and customers.
