Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive daily crew productivity and safety on job sites. You will work with management to determine hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols while mentoring crew members and resolving site issues.

Responsibilities include field training, enforcing OSHA-compliant safety practices, coordinating access with property owners, and maintaining records of work and crew time. CDL preferred; relocation and storm-work travel may be required.

Formación

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to adapt to field requirements and take independent action without close supervision.
• No fear of heights.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Capable of travel for storm work.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders.
• Conducts field training and retraining, instructing crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training per policies.
• Discusses access issues with property owners and refers complex cases to supervisors.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through effective completion of work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports for crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and optimizes use of resources and equipment.
• Furnishes reports on orders, units of work, crew time, and damages.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments when blocking streets.
• Sets up barriers and safeguards to protect employees and the public.
• Inspects tools and equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Maintains truck and field area housekeeping, and DOT maintenance compliance.
