Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) seeks a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead field projects nationwide from our Braddock area operations. You will supervise crews, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on site.

This role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and hands-on expertise in welding, structural erection, and tank repair. A HS diploma is required; willingness to learn and drive to multiple job sites is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and lead field projects on PTS construction sites.
• Serve as the point of contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity standards on site.
• Understand contract scope and manage field-initiated changes (change orders).
• Demonstrate leadership in safety and quality to reduce rework and optimize schedules.
• Guide and train crew, evaluate performance, and assist in recruiting field workers.
• Ensure proper care of tooling and equipment and manage on-site documentation.
