Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service and repair sprinkler systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. You will diagnose equipment, read blueprints, and perform repairs following manuals and notices.

A strong emphasis on safety, independence, and reliable travel is required. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of sprinkler experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of documented experience in fire sprinkler service and repair.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Must maintain truck inventory for timely response.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Must have valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
• Must follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing physical labor weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 ft.

Responsibilities

• Receive service calls and diagnose equipment/systems problems.
• Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals and product manuals.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to learn quickly.
