MorCore is seeking skilled Fiber Splicing Technicians to join our Field Operations team. This contract role involves hands-on fiber optic splicing and testing in fast-paced, travel-heavy projects across multiple locations. Strong technical aptitude and a reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of fiber splicing or related utility construction experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and quick-learning abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-starting.
- Comfortable reading splice documentation and plans.
- Must be able to travel frequently for projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform fiber optic cable splicing and testing in varied environments.
- Read and interpret splice documentation and plans.
- Operate fusion splicing machines and OTDR testing tools.
- Prepare cables and enclosures and troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs and project documentation.
- Work alone or in teams to ensure quality across tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Travel to job sites, often with overnight stays and weekends.
