Qualifications

• 5+ years of fiber splicing or related utility construction experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and quick-learning abilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-starting.
• Comfortable reading splice documentation and plans.
• Must be able to travel frequently for projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic cable splicing and testing in varied environments.
• Read and interpret splice documentation and plans.
• Operate fusion splicing machines and OTDR testing tools.
• Prepare cables and enclosures and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs and project documentation.
• Work alone or in teams to ensure quality across tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fiber optic cable splicing and testing in various environments.
• Accurately read and interpret splice documentation and plans.
