Job summary

Project Resources Group is seeking an experienced Outside Plant Construction Coordinator to manage assigned fiber routes, monitor 811 tickets, respond to outages, and prevent issues from escalating. This route-based, field-focused position emphasizes reliability, safety, and clear communication with clients and crews.

You will drive daily, document changes, review maps, and coordinate with homeowners and contractors.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Auto insurance meeting state requirements; mileage reimbursed at IRS rate.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions; field experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan the route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes for risk factors.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging activity.
• Provide first-level support to mitigate minor issues and respond to outages.
• Log changes in infrastructure and conditions along the route.
• Report to field leadership to verify quality and adherence to SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
