Job summary

Project Resources Group is seeking a route-based Construction Coordinator to serve as the eyes and ears on the ground for our clients’ fiber networks. You will monitor 811 tickets, plan and drive your assigned route, and respond to outages to prevent issues from escalating.

The role requires comfort with long windshield time, independent field work, and strong attention to detail. You’ll interact with customers, contractors, and homeowners while maintaining safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle with auto insurance meeting state requirements.
• Willingness to drive long distances and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and plan route.
• Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
• Visit and monitor existing fiber routes to identify risks.
• Review 811 locate tickets, maps, and prints to stay ahead of digging and construction activity.
• Provide first-level support for minor issues and respond to outages as needed.
• Log and escalate issues and verify quality and adherence to the SOW.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
